Lapiosalmi is a nature tourism center specializing in outdoor activities, located on the shore of Salmijärvi in Posio. Our cottages can accommodate approximately one hundred people. Lapiosalmi is an excellent place for various camps, memorable adventure vacations, training days, celebrations - or simply for relaxation! Lapiosalmi is a popular destination among groups, families with children, and independent travelers alike.

In the immediate vicinity, you can find attractions such as the Korouoma gorge canyon, clear fishing waters, hunting and berry-picking grounds, cross-country ski trails, hiking routes, and the majestic landscapes of Koillismaa, not to mention the iconic Erakko-Eemeli's cottage (read Eemeli's story here).

Lapiosalmi's kitchen creates meals tailored to your preferences, from breakfast to supper. Upon prior arrangement, breakfast provisions can also be delivered to your cottage's refrigerator. Food services must always be ordered in advance.
